Application procedure for exchange of students based on the academic bilateral agreements (other than Erasmus+).

The Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Information Technology of the University of Žilina is accepting applications from exchange students based on the academic exchange agreements.

To come to the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Information Technology as an exchange student, you must:

• Be enrolled as a regular student at your home university.
• Be nominated for the exchange by your home university.
• Have a good level of proficiency in English (or Slovak).

Applicants are asked to follow the application procedure:
After you have been selected by your home university:

• Find courses that you wish to take.
• Prepare for submission the following documents:
  • Student application form (to be filled in by PC, the document includes a housing request)
  • Student certificate of enrolment from current university.
  • Transcript of records.
  • Certificate of scholarship received.

All documents must be submitted in English.

30 November for spring semester

NOTE:

Accommodation is pre-booked at the Student Dormitory Veľký Diel, block DH, for all Erasmus+ students who have requested it through the Student Application Form. The price is approximately 120 – 140 € per person per month, depending on whether 2 or 3 people share one room. Students who have reached the age of 26 are required to pay the city tax.
